1.  Be patient - Keep in mind that hundreds of responses are being received by women you are interested in online. It could take a woman some time to whittle down her email box and respond back. To make sure that you DO receive a response, your message should be distinctive, not one chockfull of trite phrases.

2.  Be proactive - Do not respond to just one woman and hope for the best. Choose several that you are interested in and email them. You will up your odds considerably when you do. Also, do not be too selective. Remember, meeting people online is not an exact science, so make some allowances and broaden your horizons a bit.

3.  Catchy profiles and taglines needed - In order to stand out from the other Joe Schmoes, you need an honest, attractive and catchy profile that will make a woman look twice at you. Be clever in your email title and be sure to address one or two things you saw in HER profile, just so she knows that your email is not one of those “blanket” ones you send to just anybody.
